What's a bluebox?
it's from greddy..i know that...is it the piggy back fuel computer??? i went to the greddy website and that's only thing thats worth calling a "bluebox". am i right?
yeah..i searched....i don't know why but some people like to say "search" instead of a simple "yes" or "no"....makes things so much easier....i guess saying "search" makes some people feel smarter and superior to others even though they are not....
i did search...nobody clearly talks about what exactly it is~!! i surmising that it is the piggy back fuel comp. i think i'm right....if you don't know, then just say you don't know and don't act like you know everything.
yes or no? what is it? you don't know@@!!!!! (who ever you are)

Breathe. Relax Joseph. The "blue box" is basically the FMU (Fuel Management Unit) that comes with the Greddy turbo kit. It's a box that's colored blue, hence the name. In any case, it alters the fuel map so that you're able to run efficiently under stock boost (6-7 psi). It also prevents the ECU from throwing all sorts of crazy check engine lights, although certain CELs still pop up for many people and myself included. Ultimately, people look to thrash it/upgrade this because nobody likes stock boost and also because it's a POS. Why? Because it's non-tuneable. I hope I have answered your question concisely. Peace.

Hey man, if I knew exactly what the blue box was, I would have answered your question...I know it is a fuel controller and it sux, but other than that? I was trying to be helpful by telling you to search. (91 seperate topics about the blue box and no one mentioned what it does?!) Some people may try hard to make people think they know everything, but some people try real hard just to be a DICK.

Daniel, you're absolutely right about the FCU part. I was doing so much researching for an FMU that I messed that one up. However, I always thought the fuel map was altered because it was made specifically for the rc 310cc injectors(since it won't work properly with RC 440cc injectors). Please inform me if I'm incorrect. I'll PM u also.
