Default Best Car Books

quick thing - I want to gain as much knowledge about all car-related aspects as I could. I know of a few books, i.e. if I want to know about turboing a car, I read maximum boost. What are other books like this?

But i don't want it to be car specific. General books for many different types of cars.

I can't even think of ten books. If you want to learn just stick around honda-tech and read more and post less. If you have a question or something you want to know more than likely it can be found searching. Then expand your horizons. I'm not turbo or hybrid but I read in both those forums because i know i will be pretty soon. Just read, read, and read. As far as books, basically what you listed, honda tuners guide or whatever it is called and if you want to learn turbos, maximum boost by corky bell.

Fred Puhn- How to make your car handle

herb adams- chassis engineering

paul v. valkenburgh- race car engineering & mechanics

milliken & milliken- race car vehicle dynamics (get this book FIRST. it is THE book to own.)
