i just spoke with Skunk2, Group A, on the phone and they informed me that their intake maifolds have passed all the necessary tests for the Carb Exemption but they have yet to recieve the papers back from the government agency responsible for the Carb O.E numbers. I was told that they are expecting the Carb exemption papers anyday. I did also find that the Stage 1 vtec cams are now exempt and come with the Carb number. heres the link for the cams. you will have to call them for the numberif you already have the cams.

Header and cam upgrade would compliment it nicely.
Super, I will give them a call in two weeks because no one in the import industry ever does anything on time.

the manifold works wonders on gsrs. gets rid of the secondary butterflies and replaces the manifold with one big plenum and short runners. same design as the ITR manifold, and NOW theres a CARB EO... best of both worlds. i wonder if everyone that has one will get a sticker or placard... whatever. i sure as hell dont have my original receipt. oops... oh well.

Power increase is up top. lose a little of low end but it is an exchange well worth it.

Yeah, I LOVE my mani, I have 2000 ITR cams and the difference was insane, the car pulls in every gear, and at around 5700 rpm the lobes really start workin and it pulls mad hard.
Yeah, I called them trying to get the number for you guys but like the guy above said, they don't have it yet. Wasted .50 cents calling long distance for you guys.....hope your happy!

Here is the link to the Bar associations webpage regarding Group-A autosprts Skunk2 intake manifolds. Enjoy!!
edit: the first link i provided doesnt seem to work so use this one and just search for intake manifold, by mnaufacturer and then look for group a autosports and look for the EO number that applies. HTH

An E.O. for a intake manifold?!?!
It seems like a waste of time, since an intake manifold is smog legal as long as it accepts all the facotry emmisions equipment. The only reason they would need to get their certified is if their manifold does accept all the factory smog stuff.
