i'm new to the board,

well, i have a problem..my car is a dx. recently swapped to a d16y8 motor, but the car will not start! wiring harness and ecu were replaced, the car is an ek, 97, the motor from a 2000. it cranks, but it just wont start....it seems like the gas is not going into the motor,

checked all the fuses already, no luck..any ideas?

 

is there fuel in the lines.. or maybe your fuel pump is broken! NOT SURE

 

Did you repin a14 and a12 on the ecu side? Throwin any cels???

 

Check your distributer. Could be ignitor, ignition coil, or ICM. Make sure there isn't any moisture in the cap as well.
