OK I have a few questions for you guys/ladies about this swap so I'm going to list them out. I would really appreciate any feedback. This is starting to stress me out

1. Where should I get my motor from? The motor I am looking for is:
B18c w/ LSD tranny complete swap
axels, ecu, etc.

Should I go to:
hmotorsonline.com
jspecauto.com
somewhere else(specify)

2. I am from CT(06601) and am looking for a reputable place to get this motor installed. I am willing to travel 4 hours max. Anything past that I'll be sleeping NY, RI, MA, , East/North sides of PA

1.I would suggest getting your motor from password:JDM or getting it thru hmotorsonline.

ImportAutoSalvage as well as Nippon motors as very good motors as well and all are good companies to work with.

2. That's nice. You may have to have the motor shipped to your location

3. Welcome. You are off to a good start.

 

I would suggest you email Eric at Hybridrevolution.com (sp?) He is on the west coast and has great Coustomer service and very good prices.

Thnk they will do it for 500? Thats the price I have been getting in PA, NY, etc. For some reason CT plaes charge and arm and a leg.


*Edit - I just got off the phone with him and he wants to charge me 1000(strictly labor). I already called 5 other places that would do it for 500, yet I haven't found one place in CT. I still want to find a palce a bit closer. Help!

I'll do your swap for $500 in one day, but I don't think you'll want to drive to my state for a motor swap.
