Found a set of Acura TL HID units with all the wiring--complete install for dirt cheap at a junk yard. I've heard of people retro-fitting their cars with these. Anybody done it? If so...hook me up with the install instructions. (I have a 99 civ ex.)

 

I have helped my frined do it into his 99 CX hatch Very easy to do. We should have taken pictures but oh well.

First you have to cut the little ring thing off the old headlights. (the part with three things sticking out)

Then mount that on the HID bulb use some super glue or JB Weld, something that will hold it there.

Put bulbs in headlights housing connect up a few wires from the HID box to your old headlight harness. Mount the HID box down so that it doesnt move.

Aim headlights.

Thanks dude, sounds pretty easy then. I thought it would be a little more involved than that. Shows what I know!!! Anybody have anything....pics?

 

Yep thats the guy I helped do them. The glare shoulds would be even a better way to do it.
