Default HID?

Does this work in Jazz(fit) headlights without all the glare problems etc?

I've seen HID lights in a Fit...i think it was on FitFreak.net. I don't know where the HID kit came from though.

I'll go there and see if I can find it.

The headlight for the Fits are huge, so its really no problem putting in a projector.

IMO, theres no point in putting in HID's in your car w/out projectors, it will cause a certain amount of glare. In addition, the beam will not have any focus.

Judging by these pictures, the glare isnt that bad for a reflector based HID kit. For those who are more concerned about the HID "look" rather than output and performance, it is a feasible option.

Yea that's pretty clean for non-HID reflectors. But for godssakes try and get a 4300-5300k HID kit or you won't be doing much good at all

Those look decent, but they don't appear to be much brighter than the Sylvania halogen bulbs. It could just be the pics, but, that's my take.

I am pretty sure with the proper camera settings the output would look much brighter.

i've had my HID's in my fit since the end of April, and with using H4 adapter i have no upward glare, but aiming the headlights low is still required as to not blind oncoming traffic anyways, i'm currently working on a retro-fit now since i have a spare set of headlights and a set of OEM Nissan Maximum HID projectors, so i'll be posting a thread of pics when i'm done.

so HID in non retrofit housing is ok.. aslong as beam is adjusted to aim lower?

No, it really depends housing to housing. Since halogen housings were not meant to deal with the amount of light HID puts out, some may fail. However, the Fits do surprisingly well.
