i got the car back yesterday night from doign the swap and i just noticed it today that the car shakes when i get one the gas. i am able to push the car n shake it side to side from teh fenders, and the axle nuts are tight n so are the wheels. what else could it be? someone help me with any type of theory on what it could be. all the mounts are tight too and it feels like its coming from the passenger side front. thanks for any help.

 

your passenger side axle is probably broken. does it shake only when you press the gas cause if it does than the axle is definately broken

 

check tire pressure. i thought my wheels needed balancing, but i had low pressure due to a slow leak of a nail.

 

its not the axles i think it might be either coming from the tires not being balanced right or the fact that all the noise vibration from the open header right now because i need that 6 inch pipe. ill find out tom when the car get's the cat connected thanks tho for da tips

 

make sure u popped in the pass. side axle in.
Also, make sure the stud bolts are on tight. They could be loose and make the tire shake.
Also, u might just need an aligment cause u messed around with the sus. from the swap.

i want to get an alignment but no one around here will align a lowered car its hard as hell to find someone especially for a decent price around here. anyone kno of a garage that will in the south brunswick area????

 

you got a les schwab there? they do everything for alignments..
