Default JDM Motors

The prices are already starting to drop for JDM ITR motors. At the beginning of the yeat they were as high as $9900 and now they have come down to $5500 to $6500 for complete motor tranny ECU etc.

hhhmm JDM huh...i was thinkin about doing a swap.
will the JDM ITR Motor runs just fine on low octane fuel, such as the one we have here in the US? all i know they only run on 100+ octane gas.
I don't see why not 11.5:1 CR is not that high so 93 Octane should be fine. THe lowest rated fuel in Japan is like 95 Octane anyway that's why everyone says they run 100 Octane. I think.

11.5:1 is pretty high compression! Celicas get away with it but those cars are meant to be run on high octane fuel not shitty 92 octane.

Yeah I totally agree with on that. I don't know why everyone is so scared of half-a-point-a-compression? I think you're right about the gas being 95 octane over there, not 100 like everbody thinks.
