How much if any will boring to 81.5 weaken the cyl walls?
I purchased an older block and im going to have it bored to ensure that the walls are completely straight. Will boring the cyl's to 81.5 limit the amount of boost i can run? Im planning to run around 10psi daily 14 max with 9.5:1 pistons, eagle rods, blockguard and aem ems. I should be fine right?
BTW: Can I fit a b16 shortblock in the trunk of my 00 si? I dont think it will be a problem.

well it doesn't weaken the sleeves structural stability that much. I would do 10psi max.(IMHO)
* yeah a B16 short block w/out oil pan should fit. just make sure that you have 2=3 layers of plastic so that you don't get your trunk carpet all nasTeY!

This guy I know went to pick up a full b16 swap (engine, tranny, head) and put it in the back seat of a 4 dr Neon and drove 11 hours back. Had to take the door off to get it in and out.
