hey guys...

when i hear noises commin out from under the hood...its like a bunch crickets..or maybe birds chirping... sounds like a belt or somthing rubbing? i have no clue..some people said its my throwout bearing but others say if it was it would sound worse..........my car shifts fine..just somtimes in idle or in grear it makes that noise..also when i turn on the a/c the noise gets louder..anyone have advice or experience with somthing like this????? Thanks..

 

You ever try belt dressing on the a/c belt??? Probably clear your problems right up.

Yeah, my suggestion is to try some belt dressing, tighten the belt, or replace it. Trust us, that is your problem.

 

i sprayed the belt dressing on....it quieted it down...but it still makes the noise when i slow down...butnot when i shift anymore......anyone have other suggestions/solutions????

 

like I said, tighten it or replace it.
