Default Clutch break-in

Is breaking in a clutch necessary? I have the exedy racing clutch and was thinking about having the shop install it and tune my car at the same time.

IF you want to get good life out of the clutch I would break it in. Just my .02 pennies

Yeah on a stock type clutch like Exedy they do recommend a 500 mile break in. Most people I know only go about 300-350 since they can't hold out anymore and it breaks in fine. Shoot, "I can't believe this ****" put like 15-20 miles on his Exedy before getting on and shifting hard and his clutch is still holdin
