sidemarker help

Default sidemarker help

is it true that the front side moulding on the front fender can be replaced with a sidemarker if so i need some pics
if nto where is the best place to put it

If you really want to put them there you can. If you search you will
find how to wire them up. I just think that it looks funny when you put
them where the molding goes. Its not a "JDM" thing its just a what looks
right, but who am I to say what looks right, right?

Damn, beat me to it. Follow the instructions on that page, that is probably the best place for them. He even includes a template you can print out.

I plan on putting my sidemarkers where the moulding is. I'm going to be smoking them with the Niteshades tint from VHT. Why this spot?

Because I like how it looks there. Also, having sidemarkers in the traditional spot (level with the corner lamps) would make them more likely targets to steal or break off the cars by knuckleheads around the neighborhood (can't have nothin nice in Daly City.) So I searched for sidemarkers similar to the size of the moulding, and luckily i found a pair as wide as the original moulding and almost as long.

And, if by chance they should ever be stolen, it will be easier to cover up the hole with the original moulding. It's better than having an ugly-*** hole higher up that you might tend to put off fixing.
