New speed sensor for 94 EX

I have been having problems with my speedometer jumping. I bought a new sensor and it is still jumping. What could be causing it? Thanks

probably a short in the wires, i have the same problem and i cant figure it out

Yeah mine works every once in awhile and pisses me off. I guess i'll check the wire and trace whats up with it. I heard people are having problems with the sensors going out!!
