Well i joined the painted wheels club.
I didnt paint the spokes, I only wanted to clean up the lip and the center cuase the clear coat were peeling off.
I used 220 sand paper on the lip and then clear coat the entire wheel.
Thanks for the tips , looks so much better than before.
Has anyone ever used chrome wheel paint? I tested it out and it looks very bright silver, Im trying to get the look of 5zigen Hyper Silver the next time i do my wheels.

not at the moment, but i only finished 2 wheels ill take pics of my 2 other ones that still needs work, they are the same condition

 

did u prime them first.. if so what u use just stright uro? or did u just go ahead and scuff and paint?

No i didnt prime
The paint on the spokes were still in real good condition.

The clear coat were peeling off on the polished lip and polished center piece. I sanded those areas down with 220 girt sandpaper, then applied
1/2 can (each wheel) of Dupli Color High Performance Wheel Coating (clear) over the entire wheel including the spokes.

It looks nice now, i was surprised how well it turned out.
The clear coat holds up real well, i even used some wax on it to test it out.
Its a pain in the *** sanding though.

Im gonna use chrome paint next time to get a Hyper Silver look.

Yes they are discontinued, these wheels are pretty dam old.
