fuel pump check???

Default fuel pump check???

ok so the wife and i go for a rip down to our other little house today about 1 1/2 hour drive i pull in the yard the car kinda die off (rmps droped real low) i shut it off go inthe place come out 15 min latter and it want start give me a code 15 so i rip into it reset the ecu now no codes and still no start i get dad to come trailer it home and the f`n thing strats runs for 2min then dies like it run out of fuel so ithink ...fuel pump .. i rip into the back seat and put my hand on the pump trun the key and nothing a vibe at all but just to be sure i put the merter on it .. and i get 2 volts.. now it like what the hell so i think main relay.. no checks out.. so just for more fun i jump the pump 12 right to the pump still no vibe so what the hells going on here? all i got is 2 volts to the pump and if i jump it it still dont fire.. anyone have a clue?

I would say buy or rent a fuel pressure gauge that you could attach to the fuel filter to see if you're getting some fuel there, it'll at least help you narrow it down.

well i pulled the fuel line off at the filter and turned over and got no gas and if the pumps only geting 2 volts how can it run on that???

Maybe the pump died

edit: It might also be the main relay...also, check all fuses for the hell of it.

pull off the main fuel line and put it into a coke bottle. It should squirt gas with some force. If it only drips, you have a problem.

got it it was the pump? what a pain in the *** to change .. i think i got more gas on the floor than the gas can .. the power problom was that when i turn the key on the pump only gets power for about a secon thats why i could only get 2 volts . and i pulled the line off at the reg to see if it was a gas thing thats what started this mess is that i new i wasn`t getting gas but was it the pump or the power to the pump (well it was the pump) THANX GUYS

well after 130 bucks to get the thing home i just got one from a junky for $20 the price new was $200 but thats not shopping around and thats canadain eh!

Got a part number for a fuel pump for a CRX Si? I am pretty sure mine is dying and would rather fix it before it does it on the track or somewhere not close to home. So if you could help me out in this dept. it would be greatly appreciated.

I got a Holley 190 lph pump for cheaper than a new stock pump would have cost (it was for a 94+ Integra).

Go to http://www.groupbuycenter.com , Lightning Motorsports has Walbro 255l fuel pumps for your car, direct replacements. There only $99 and shipped for free. Much cheaper and better than stock.
