11.05 @ 129mph... 1.l. Suzuki Swift!!!
My brother just got back from Puerto Rico and he brought with him a racing mag. from over there called "Super Compactos".
In it there's plenty of rotaries a couple of Hondas and one killer Suzuki Swift. This lil' Goliath is street driven puts down 375hp and besides the Vitarra pistons, port/polish and the fuel/ecu system everything is stock. (rods/crank/cams...)
Now the good part... how about 32 lb of boos... from a Turbonetics to3 turbo.
This thing is doing 11.05 @ 129mph... on a 1.3l motor, pretty much stock.
freaking nice shet...

Whoa, can you provide any more details on the Swift?
I've been wanting to play with a Metro, been pondering a Firefly 1.0 turbo drivetrain. They put out 100 hp stock, I figured 150-160 was possible with a good margin of safety and strip the car down to 1500 lbs, yadda yadda yadda.
If the 1.3 DOHC Swift engine will hold that sort of power, I'd be interested in looking into one.

nope, thats because they are not 24/7 looking on h-t.they work their heart and soul on those cars and 95% don't get sponsored.ask lisa kubo when she went down there and got beat by a mazda 323.
by the way thats not the only one running fast there is another running 10.80

the yellow eg is clean man... and it runs good too!
but that Swift is just crazy. 32lbs of boost
the thing about pr is that people love the sports. from the domestic to rotaries to the new breed of fwd's... they love it.
pr's only 110 miles by 35 miles and there are about 5 dragways that have so many events yearround...
i'm going there friday(mar 7) and my cousins taking me to the street races and to the track, i'm waiting for that...

okay what the mag. says is this:
the only thing done to the motor was a swap of pistons for (92-94)S*zuki Vitarra ones and a port/polish job.
Haltech f9 management system.
300zx tb.
msd ign. Accel 85lbs injectors/msd fuel pump plus orig. fuel pump.
Hyundai Accent 95-97 tranny 3.80 final drive(welded)
Suzuki Samurai double clutch.
and the turbo boosting 32 lbs.
that's all it says!!!
