I was wondering if it is really any good to change my 97 dx into an ex or is it just to much trouble to do it thaks and ps if anyone has anything I would need it would be very helpful thanks again

 

Yeah, not too much of a job. The engine and transmission should bolt right in, and body wise, you need to paint your side moldings, your rear trim around the license plate and your rear view mirrors. Also, I would go ahead and paint the side skirts (just looks good IMO, and thats how the SI is too!!) You could also do a mini-me swap (where you just swap to an EX head)! Good luck man!

 

that is what I was thinking of just swapping the heads how hard would that be

 

for the cost to swap the head only...you're almost to a complete Y8 change over. This also gives you a better tranny than the stock DX tranny.

Y8 complete swaps with ECU run beteween 500 and 800 bucks depending on mileage. And paint as someone already stated.
