APEXi WS or Greddy EVO....
i finally got my h22 swap done, i'll hopefully get some pix up, once my friend downloads the pix off his digicam (don't have mine no more
)... i really like the APEXi exhaust becuase it's currently on my car, needed one real fast so i took it from my bro, its really nice and quiet. it's only slightly louder than my stock vx muffler (figure that one out??), do u think i should've held off and waited and gotten a Greddy EVO or made the right descsion with the WS since it was pratically free, the only reason why im asking this is because its only 2.25 and i wanted 2.5? and one final question do u think the stock vx radiator is sufficient enough, because if the car idles for too long (15 mins) the temp will climb rapidly. if so, do u think i should get a b16 radiator or aftermarket, money is an issue.
heres the list of my mods:
JDM 97 H22A
DC Headers
APEXi WS exhaust
APEXi VAFC
STR Fuel Rail
SX Fuel Pressure Regulator
Carsound HiFlow Cat
Walbro 190 Pump
Chipped P28
Greddy Catch Can
Also kept AC (Summer driving in SoCal Sucks
)
and one more thing i had to give up my jdm headlamps because the city light harness got in the way of the alternator belt
, had to learn it the hard way after my battery light came on...popped the hood and my belt was totally ripped
, i miss those headlights already
(first mod to my car)
Props to John, Aaron, & Sai at Holeshot Racing in Anaheim for hooking me up - i dont give a #$@@ what anyone says Holeshot gets
from me

the greddy evo will be a little louder but still sounds really nice. if u want the 2.5" exhaust, id go with the EVO, i doubt u will see super high gains, but there might be a little difference. i guess the question is, can you afford it, if so.. get it.
I don't want to jack your thread but I heard one thing about the Apexi WS that I want cleared up. Is it a full straight through exhaust? I've heard that the muffler wasn't straight through (hence why it is so amazing quiet). Is this true??
i think theay both suck but thats just me.
if you want 2.5 dont go for the evo. its only 2.36(60mm).
yes its true. the muffler is chambered.
