Need help quickly...couple of questions... Axle boot related
Background:
I have a 94 civic coupe with a 99 b18c1 swap.
I was going to swap out my MC and booster in favor of a 1" M/C and booster, as well as install my stainless steel braided brake lines. HOWEVER, that is going to put put on hold for a couple of days cause when I was taking off my front wheels I saw a bunch on gunk on my driver side area...TORN outer Boot. Then I check my passenger side, and it seems to show signs of ripping too.
I know that I need to replace the boot, but
Should I:
buy an OEM boot or just get one from a local parts store?
Also should I replace the outer boot on my passenger side?
and also, Do I need to drain my tranny fluid, if I am only doing the driver side?
