How do you guys do a 5 lug conversion? ITR or CTR?
whats easier? ITR or CTR? i have a 95 hatch and i would like to get a 5 lug conversion some time and i saw chameleon's site ( http://www.jdmvtec.com ) and i would like to get a conversion. where should i get it from? and CTR or ITR? thanks for the help.
Either one is fine. Basically the same thing, The Jdm integra type r conversion is a different story. Try to get a USDM ITR 5 lug or a ctr. If you can't get anything but the jdm then make sure it includes the axles and you are set. later
thanks! :D
haha
at first i almost thought the same person replied to there question because both your avatars are the same.. haha
Search google for 'civic 5 lug conversion', you'll get a great site with all the info you need, I forgot the addy though, sorry.
ITR i believe. i heard somewhere that CTR's are for 6th gen while 5th gen are for DC2's. Most of their parts pretty much bolt right up so why not try the 5 lug.

dont want to mess up my suspension
but then ITR has more to do..i have to buy another axle is what silvercivic2k said. So i just go with the usdm itr? its pretty much bolt on from what ive seen in these web sites i have been looking at. also..i bought a skunk2 camberkit and some lowering springs..they will fit the new suspension right? also..when i do this..i just need the knuckle not swaybars and junk like that? this will give me all wheel braking right? what comes with it usually and who do i need to buy it from?
thanks again for help

You'll want to go with a USDM ITR swap. It will use the same size axle that you have now (32mm). The JDM ITR swap has 36mm axles, so you would have to get new axles or swap the outer joints onto your current axles. Not easy. To get the full benefit of the ITR brakes, you'll want to swap in a proportioning valve from a car with full discs. A brake master cylinder and booster would also help. You can swap in the MC and booster from an Integra RS and won't have to rebend any of the brake lines.
Hit me up by PM if you have anymore questions. Oh, and I have a 5-lug swap from a 2000 Type R in my garage that I MIGHT be getting rid of. I'm also in Kennesaw, so i'm local to you.
