Default Got my Tein's today, but.........

I got my Tein SS today for my 92 VX but I've got a question. The rear strut bodies don't have the threaded nut welded on. I know it's not a big deal because all I need to do is get a nut for the bolt that goes through the LCA but I wondered if this is normal for them to be designed this way?

Is there a locking nut included with the kit? If I remember right, either my Bilsteins or my Koni's did not have the nut welded on, but included a self-locking nut in the box for the bolt.

there should be a bolt in the packaging... check very carefully, its most likely taped to the underside of the lid...

I just went through everything and there are no bolts or lock nuts but it's no big deal, I can pick some up at Napa. Ok one other thing, what do I do about the front brake lines since there are no bolt mounts for the lines to attach to?

As for the brake lines, take the bracket off your stock shocks and switch it to the Teins. This part will help you line it up with the Yolk and keep it tight. Sweet setup. Looks great.

yeah, thats what I had to do with my TEIN HAs. Put the stock strut on the ground, get a hammer, and hammer at the side of the brake line bracket. I believe its tack welded on in one spot, but it comes off with 2 or 3 hits It slips around the TEIN perfectly and I have had no problems with mine.

Turbo Evolution, they are on http://www.groupbuycenter.com but I think you can get them at that price anytime. You can email them at turboevolution@hotmail.com or call (626)968-8711 and ask for Tony.

You always seem to jump in everytime I talk about Tein . I never knew you sold them on this board and in no way am I trying to persuade anyone to buy from this company or that. I talked to Tony at Turbo Evolution and they offer a full 1 year warranty on their Tein's. Whether they are an authorized dealer or not, they do offer a warranty so if their is a problem they back what they sell.

I only get on your case when you quote their price and give contact info. Again, their price, and a few others, are upsetting quite a few AUTHORIZED Tein Dealers. Shops who ***** put good shops outta business.
