Default TPS problems need help

aight, I just got some JG cams put in my ZC and they put in a new distrubtor but, when i got the car back it was throwing a code 7 (tps). Since I got the car back I have replaced the tps with another one and i still get the code 7 and it also started throwing a code 9 (tdc) so i have to get another distrubtor. My question is would the bad distrubtor cause part of the code 7. I have reset the ECU like 20 times and have adjusted the TPS but still same thing.

oh and if it helps i have a JG TB that i'm using on it but before I got the cams it was not throwing a code 7.

sorry if this doesn't make sense or if i babble I just want my car running right again

Is the voltage correct at closed and WOT throttle when you test is?? It has to be in a specific position at closed throttle or it will CEL. Helms has the testing for it I can update this with the instructions after work if that will helps. Pretty sure 0.5 volts closed and aprox 4.5 WOT testing at TPS

yeah if you can do that please do so. Also i'm not sure how to test it, i will probably try some more things and if that does not work i will take it back to the shop that put the cams in to get them to fix it since they cause it in the first place

did you take the TPS off the T/B at all?? Its hooked up correct?? if you've had the head off either or could happen. To test it you need a multi meter. I'll get you the info for sure tonight

yeah when i got the JG tb it didn't have a TPS so i just switched the one off my old tb to the jg and hooked everything up and it worked perfect with no codes but the minute i got my car out of the shop when they but the cams in it started throwing the code. everything is hooked up and when i take the TPS off the TB i can hear it click back from where it was. we didn't have the head off just the distrubtor and valve cover but it was off for over 24hrs. yeah please get me that info as i need/want this fixed so i can get my cam gears tuned at the dyno
