this old rich geezer wheremy homie works is looking to get rid of his 93 dx. the body is pretty clean with the exception of the normals dings a 93 civic would have. the interior is also pretty clean. my only concern is the very high mileage of the car. if i purchase this car i'm not planiing on doing a swap anytime soon. if anything this would be my beater. my hommie told me that this guy is an old dude so he doesn't drive fast. whatchu guys think?

I would check the report and history of the car if possible, and when it had its latest major tune up... if the owner kept his car in good running condition and drove it properly... then i think the stock engine/tranny will last you a long while before your intended swap... GOOD PRICE TOO!!!
I would buy it because my 93 coupe has the stock motor and it has 210k miles on it and it still running strong.
Is it a coupe or a 4 door? If its a coupe then I would buy it and as soon as the engine starts dying on you sell it to some ricer for $3000.

nice deal for 1500 make sure you do all the normal testing on the car before you buy it .. and also make sure you get a history on the car.
