is this a good buy? 93 DX
I'm looking at a 93 civic dx hatchback... 183,000 on the body, but has a new engine from the engine exchange with a new exhaust system and new brakes... It's in good shape with the normal rust on the rear 1/4 panels... Interior is clean with no rips in the seat... She wants 2800 for it, but i'm thinking of asking 2700.. Is this a good buy?

how many miles on the new motor? i got my 94 dx with 99k miles on it with no rust few small dings and scratches
for the same price...so if the miles are low on the new motor then id say its a pretty good deal....offer her 2500 and see what happens...

I got a 93 DX for 1700 with very minor rear fender rust (arizona car) crappy front end paint work though and had old chocolate all over the inside
I would not really be concerned with mileage really it's more about the body. The rest of the stuff can be changed out inexpensively, motors, interior etc..

I'm pretty sure the motor only has like 20,000 on it... It has a lot of good parts, but the body isnt the greatest... I think I might try offering 2650...?
