i have a nitrous express kit and was wondering if anyone has ever put in the 41 24
jet set to make 75hp in their d series. if so what are the mods done to the d series? tnx just wondering what would have to be upgraded.

 

75 is a bit much, u want to spay about 1/2 your hp and to the wheels, 75 would be fine, but i would get a high flow fuel pump and fuel rail and regulator.

Your Engine should be able to take it, but your clutch or automatic tranny will blow after about 3 refills,

If your going to use nitous do it safe and upgrade the car, so it can take it

Fuel and Spark are needed for a Nitous Setup, most people who run without blow there **** up. If you don't have the cash for the upgrades go with a 55 shot and go to a 75 shot, when you get the cash for the mods. I would go with a Zex Kit or a NOS Kit, Both Safe in there own ways and cheap.

There is a guy who sprayed with i/h/e cam gear and automatic tranny who ran a 14.9 on a 55 shot with a zex kit, he also blow up his tranny, after 2 bottles.

 

check for Mista Bones posts, he has some really low bottle times. stock z6

 

i believe he's running 85 shot, also another member on this board ran 85 shot also, ran 12's in civic hatch, with the d16, no internal mods. i think his sn is singlecamscreamer but not sure.

 

damn 12's?? i already have a NX 50 shot i was just wondering if my engine could take the extra 25, just curious is all.

my engine mods are as follows:
OBX plug wires
ZEX nitrous plugs
Short style intake
Greddy Header
Testpipe
axle back exhaust(soon to be full)
NX 50 shot
and hopefully by the end of tomarrow i will have a zex stage 2 camshaft

i hope to be putting some good times down as soon as the track opens and i can get some good rubber(studded snows don't have much pavement traction )
