What would a chipped ecu do for me in my situation as my ecu is bad and i need another one , just wondering if i should get a chipped one or if its just a waste of money for my situation. Im running a 1.6 sohc vtec , gredy turbo 9psi, vafc, 440 rc, 270 pump, etc.. Or should i just get the regular ecu which i think i should.
I know you are asking about a chipped ecu. But something more adaptable to your setup might be better. Its a bit more.... but i'd say look at hondata for your boost setup.

yes i realize this, as ive explored the stand alone systems, but ive been sticking away a bit from my car and im flying rc helicopters now which take a lot of $$$, on top of that i live on maui and they dont program hondata here
. They do aem but im just not about to spend money for it at this time. I have a bad ecu im just asking because its only like 25 dollars more for a chip but to me i think the chip wouldnt do squat so im just askin for opinions.

Well you could get a better fuel map for certain setups, I'd email someone like Kenji and see if he has anything that would work for your specific setup.
