Default Neuspeed Short Shifter

I have a 2000 Civic Ex Coupe and yesterday I decided to install my short shifter that I bought last summer. It took me a couple of hours because two of the bolts were hard to unbolt. I was working around my cat(i think that's what it's called) which was directly under it. But overall, it was pretty straight forward; very common sense.

After completing it, I took it for a test drive. It was fun to drive. I love it. I recommend everyone to get a short shifter, if you haven't already got one.

I have one question, I plan on doing a swap before summer; still debating between H22 and B18C1. Would I have to change my short shifter when I do a swap or does it not matter? Thanks.

Becareful with that thing... I had a neuspeed short shifter in for about 5 months and I messed up my tranny with that thing in. and you might say it was my fault but then I go and find out that the person I baught it from Had it in his car for about 6-7 months and his tranny went also...

If you put an h22a in, you'll need a different shifter... for a b18c you wont though...

and lowlife... There are all kinds of debates about short shifters causing tranny problems.... But think about it this way... Anytime you modify any part of a car, you always run the risk of breaking something due to it... Its just a matter of if the dealership can PROVE that your modification broke it...
