Default Coolant loss.

I have a 92 Cx that I got recently and it has had the problem since. When you fill the radiator up with fluid and get the engine hot, all the fluid goes into the overflow-as it should- but when the engine cools off it is not going back into the radiator-which it SHOULD do- So what do you guys think? It is just all coming out of the overflow tank. ARGH. We have replaced the radiator cap with a 16psi replacement. (is that right? thats what advance auto said). we also bled it at the relief valve, but no bubbles there. UGH. Sorry if this doesnt make sense, but thanks for the input.

My sister's 94 civic did that.
Her thermostate was gone, i replaced the thermostate, the car ran fine.

Check your thermostate.

Well i am 99.9% sure it is not the head gasket. And I was thinking that the thermostat is bad, but I guess I will replace that today if I get the time. Thanks guys.
