I have to fill my overflow about once a month, where is the coolant going? Is the overflow pressurised to the point that the radiator will suck fluid out of it? Suck it bone dry? I can find no evidence of fluid coming out of the cap or leaking anywhere else. If it matters, when I did my swap I had to move the resivour to in front of the header because of my CAI. There is no evidence of coolant in my oil. Even so, could it be my headgasket? That worries me. Anyone else have this problem or any ideas where its going.

are you filling the radiator of the resivor

had the same problem on my VW, mystery leak. could'nt see where it went. no evidence of leaqking, just gone.
turned out to be a bad h2o pump. but could also be your radiator, too.

I have never had to add to my radiator, just my resivour.

should'nt you be adding fluid to your radiator and not your overflow reservoir?

well, theres the min/max lines, but the focker is bone dry when I add to it. Will the coolant system suck fluid out of the overflow??

yes it will. I had teh same problem so I got a new radiator cap and it fixed it...

to piggyback what he said, obviously it's a pressurized system, so any leakage(ie condensation in your case) you will lose fluid to steam and maybe in a months time you will see such a significant loss...only thing i can come up with.

have your car preasure tested for leakes....you never know there might be a small leak some where

actually now that I think about it, with my overflow in front of my header, it will condense and evaporate quicker b/c of the heat. I need to move my overflow. thanks again
