it really only saves you a couple of hp, im still skeptical about these, mainly they are only recommended for n/a motors as well, lots of people in the boost forum that have these pulleys have run into some problems with their alternators...

thats just what I have read in the past years, my information may not be 100 percent accurate. I have not been motivated enough to buy them myself.

well,if ya really need like 1.7hp at the switchover, then get em.But to me they are a HUGE waste of cash.My friend has the whole set on his 00 Si,and it feels the same. Not like youd really feel 2hp anyways, but for the price, they are not worth it.

Not only are these types of pulleys not worth the time & effort, but they can actually be very detremental to your crank bearings. Since they are machined out of solid alluminum, they do not retain the harmonic balancing system that is stock on Honda pulleys(this is the rubber strip that evens out vibrations through the crank).I personally think they are a huge waste, just like those CAI by-pass valves.

ehhh, that would be true for a crankshaft pulley. However, the AEM Tru-Power pulley kit only replaces the P/S and alternator pulleys on Hondacuras.

i use the AEM pulley kit on my '97 EX. didn't really feel ****.

Pros: You can say you have a AEM Pulley Kit and it looks better.

Cons: Your wallet gets lighter for no performance gain at all! I know, I have one.
