i got a call from a friend and his friend has 1 10in MTX in a box going for $100cdn or less. I am most likely going to buy it but i still want opinions on MTX subs before i get it.

MTX subs have been pretty decent since 1995 or so. Before that they tried lots of things, but they blew out easily. Now you can get good subs for $60 ea. or less even. They are a great deal in my opinion.

on ebay some guy is selling a 10 inch 6000 series i think what do you think of that

 

That dosent look like such a great deal considering they are used. Also shipping on those would be rather high.

The new ones posted for $125 for 2 woofers dosen't seem like a bad deal. I bet they kick ***.

15" MTX RFL!!! lols... 4000 watts max. I think RMS is like 2000, freakin insane but i heard it has low sound quality, only meant for bass... now if you want bass with quality i would go for JL w7. 10 inch is louder than most 2 12" sub
