Sounds about right, I some how lost about a 1qrt&1/2 of oil last night. And my idle is really rough. But i get no white/black/nasty smoke out the exhaust or out the breather hole of the head.

I get alot of white smoke out the exhaust plus lose quart of oil every 500-700 miles. I think it blew from a shitty oil return line.

Well i was just outside having another look around and i noticed that when i start my car, then rev the engine a little, oil seeps out between the manifold and where it bolts to the turbine. Blown turbo?

Sounds like you got oil problems... If you can check inside the compressor housing, if there is oil residue, your fucked... That usually means that oil is leaking in there, and the vacuum preasure pulls the oil through the leaks...

I still am learning about turboes so thats the most advice I can give you...

EDIT: The leaks are usualy cause by failing bearings... The oil seals for the bearings can go bad...

So that would put the problems i've been having on a blown turbo correct?
your fucked...
How so? All i need to do is replace the turbine correct?

This happened to my turbo, it cost me $350 for the seals to be replaced and a bearing also because I ran so long with it blown I had to get an oversized one on the compressor side. A blown turbo isen't cheap, you have to make the decision of keeping your turbo and spending a few hundred bucks and send it out to get repaired, or buying a new/used one. Also DO NOT try to buy a rebuild kit and do it yourself, you do NOT have the tools and balancers necessary for the job, most shops don't even tinker with that stuff and leave it to the "turbo guys" like majestic (which I highly recommend btw, very good/fast work.)

If it's caused by a clogged oil return, and the turbo is fairly new - less than 40-50K with regular oil changes - you usually don't need a rebuild. Just dissassemble and chip the coking away from the shaft and seals, fix your drain tube, and go... no more smoke.

Ok here is the thing, i'm not getting any smoke. Just a really rough idle and lack of boost(the highest i could boost last night was 3psi).

When the bearings get worn, they tend to wabble a bit... The fan could actually be making contact with the inside of the turbo housing, thus disabling it from spinning fast, and making it difficult for air to flow... Which may in turn also cause a rough idle... Your ganna have to look inside, and see if the blades on the fan are rubbing...

This happens a lot, just from the turbo being used to much...
