CRX Radiator install
hey guys, i used to hang arround here for a while till i baught my Del Sol.
anyhow, i had to replace my radiator in my (actually , now it's my mom's ) CRX
and it was a REAL pain in the ***... was there something i could have done to make it more simple? it wasnt the fact that it was hard, it was the fact that it was wedged in a wierd way and i thought "there's got to be a better way" so, for the benefit of all, could someone tell me the easy way to install a radiator in a crx if infact there is one? thanx

you dont have to remove the fans
make sure the two guides under the radiator are in place, that could be the reason why its wedged in weird
what i do is i try to guide it in w one hand under the bumper and w the other holding the radiator from top

My guess is you have A/C. Because having A/C makes the job 10000000000 times harder. If this is the case, you MUST remove the fans first. And since the must actually be lifted to remove them, this WON'T be easy. You will probably have to play around with the lines for a while to do this. I know, it is not easy. Honda really screwed up here.
yeah, Air conditioning. it's a 91 dx. Oh well. all over and done with since summer.. but yeah.. lot's of bullshit to get at a radiator. almost considered riding it up on a platform and ghetto style dropping it from underneath...

great post.. .i thought it was just me and I couldn't find an easy way... I don't feel so stoopid now. I put a new one in (all metal) so it should last for a while.
i did it on both of my ef's..one w/ ac and one w/o. it's quite easy actually
-remove bumper
-drain all the fluid
-remove the top bracket so you can slide the rad up
-when it's half way up..disconnect that gets on your way
-put that used rad on the floor and drop kick it couple of times
-install the new one
waaaaaala. I did mine in like an hour
