skidplates for turbo?
my cars pretty low and i dont want to mess up my downpipe and cat.. is there a company that makes skidplates for civic 99-00 or custom one to help protect my downpipe? thanks
just make one out of half inch steel...
oh you mean excess weight isnt good?
The only thing that you could do is fabricte something to bolt to the K frame, that encases the engine/tranny. THe only problem is you will bottom out a lot more...your call.
and no, nobody makes any skid plates for Hondas...

do you bottom out often going up your driveway? generally the only time that you will hit your dp is when your going over a speed bump or hit a raised object in the road (manhole cover)...which is totally possible because around here the construction crews think that it's ok to shave 3'' off the road and leave it for about 2-3 weeks until they come back to resurface the road, so the manholes are raised about 3''..then they forget to put up a sign warning you.......or they don't make a gradual lip (going from old road surface to the shaved surface) so there is a 3'' lip that goes strait up...
