Default help! - tokico illuminas

i have a set of illuminas on my civic..
now for me to adjsut them all i need to do is use a flat head screwdriver and turn the top of the shock.. no need to remove my tires like KYBs or something.. right?

but when i just turn the screw up top, i havent noticed any difference when i adjust my shocks.. some ppl suggest that i jack up the car and then adjust the shock to relieve the weight/pressure on the shock..
can someone confirm this??????

does anyone else out there have illuminas?
what the hell am i doing wrong?

not sure if this is relevant but its on my 93 civic hb w/ neuspeed sport springs.. thanks!

sorry if this sounds very n00bish ahha

When I put the illuminas on my car they pretty soft. But after running them for a while they were better. When I adjust mine they change instantly.
