timing belt adjusting nut i cant get it loose at all HELP please
in helms it says loosen 3/4 -1 turn and you can take the belts off. Well i cant get the damn thing off i wrenched hard as hell on it and it didnt budge am i missing something. The nut I am referreing to is the adjusting nut

I think he's talking about the tensioner bolt. There's really no trick to get it off. Just get a good grip on it and put some elbow grease on it. I usually use a long 14mm wrench on it to get a little more torque. Becareful if you're using a ratchet on it, i've found that it sometimes tends to round off the head of the bolt.
yeah that 14mm nut is the one i am talking about but in helms it says it is torqued to 33 ft/lb and this thing dont budge with an open end wrench attached to a 3 ft cheater bar it started to round the nut and i decided to quit i dont know what to do
orry i just realized i posted in the wong forum but this is on a h22a4 w/ the autotensioner and in helms it is called an adjusting nut
