Trying to find 4wd wagon rear disc article
I saw an article with a link to the rear disc brake conversion for a 4WD EE wagon. It had some part (trailing arm?) shortened. Does anyone know where the thread is? I searched and cannot find it. Perhaps the website URL may be known better.
i know turbowagonman did this setup i can't seem to find his website, hes the dude with the 7psi turrbo on a z6 attached to the 4wd tranny.
oh his name is civicwagonman on this board eek! heres his website http://yota1man.tripod.com/vtecwagon/
i've not actually seen anyone else put disk on the awd wagon. i've seen it on 2wd. I built custom brackets to hold the calipers, they bolted on where the backing plate used to bolt to. the hub is different with the awd so I could'nt use the 2wd hub that had the caliper bracket on it. i've heard of one other person that had them on a 4wd, but i never saw pics, and supposedly he welded brackets onto his hub. it looks cool, but I didin't notice any braking difference until I put on the ex front brakes.
ps heres a thread for the crx awd with shortened arms. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=410058

civicwagonman - you wouldn't happen to have pictures of your custom bracket work to run the rear disc setup. I'm hoping to do the same soon. Also, how much work was needed/parts to complete the auto to manual swap? Something I'm also researching and hoarding parts to start undertaking. Any help...thanks!
