Default Funny question but here it go's.......

Does the EP3 Si feel slow? I'm looking for a nice all around car just to have fun in. I am more then likely going with a 95240sx with a drag2 kit, but with the prices droping so much on the 02 Si how can I say no? so does it feel slow? I know it's no speed demon but does it have that "get up and go" feel?

sorry for the stupid post

My advice would be to go out and get a test drive, that way you'll know for sure... Dont rely too much on other people's opinions 'cause everyones different

exactly...test drive it...
if you're used to driving a porsche it'll feel slow...
if you're used to driving a geo, you'll be surprised...
15.80 is far from "fast" but for what it is..and the $$...it's decent...

PS: you'll beat 75% of the other cars on the road...

Used to own a 00 Si then a 01 S2000 now the EP
Ep has some power down low, but not much on top.. nice usable torque (can I use that in the same sentence?) compared to the 00 Si (B16) but a B16 will kill you on top.. you can race people from stop light to stop light, but dont go for top speed.. 70 mph-up races.. you will get killed.. (literally and figurativly)

The power wasn't as evident as the 99-00 SIs... hmm maybe its because I had people in the car

yea the new Si's are pretty slow, but they can scoot and have a bit of pep, they have more power down low than the B series 18,16. It's a fun car to drive around in and pretty good daily commuter. I had a 98GSR and going to the Si the GSR was more fun and a little faster but was more harsh and not as refined as the Si, so luxury for a bit of speed and harshness

yes they are fast -- as fast as prior si's --- maybe not up top --- but that can be fixed with hondata reflash... gets you near an 8000 redline.
