Clutch or Slave Master Cylinder going bad?
I just bled my clutch line to make sure it was clean of air. Also flushed the entire system as well.
I notice when I push my clutch pedal down, there is about 1" of play where nothing happens. It just feels "loose."
Can I just adjust the pedal height or is the little cylinder behind the clutch going out? I crawled under neath and saw a SMALL amount of oil trace in the push rod.
Thanks in advance

your master cylinder is going bad. dont buy rebuild kit coz it will go bad fast if you rebuild it. I was the guy at Brian's house when you put in the tranny for him in the 4 door.
If you see some fluid...then there's a good chance it's going out. I'm changing my friend's master and slave cylinders tomorrow night. I'll probably change mine this spring, I know they're starting to go.
Is it an inch of play when you just lay your foot on the pedal? My ACT street/stip disk and Xtreme pressure plate does that. Anthony's R does the same thing too. I wouldn't worry about it.
