Ecu question on gsr
Will it benefit me in any way by running an p28 ecu on my 94 gsr? I was just wondering because I have been running on this ecu for the last 6 months. The ecu is not chip in any way, but everytime or most of the time, I race my friend gsr and I beat him. So does it really help or not at all...? Thanks.
i don't think it will help much because you are not using your secondary's. the P28 doesn't control them, so you prob have crappy low end ( i think it's low end that suffers). if you beat your buddy with this chip in, i am willing to bet you are just a better driver.
correct me if i am wrong.

your buddy w/ the GSR cant drive then...also, you have to shift by the time your motor is actually making good power. The stock p28 ecu wont let you rev as high, and what the others have said about the secondaries. I recommend getting it chipped, rev higher, more aggressive vtec, and better pull...also recommend getting a single stage manifold such as skunk2 or jg victor
