Sleeve Question for turbo guys

Default Sleeve Question for turbo guys

how well do the stock sleeves in my B18C5 stand up agaainst boost. curious about getting ge sleeves or leaving them alone. Or should i just get teh sleeves innstalled and have no worries.


I want to be able to run 15psi or more...........

oh yeah it will be fitted with JE pistons, crower rods....

I've asked this question a lot. From the replies I've gotten I'm going to re-sleeve when I go turbo. Better safe than sorry.....

i wouldnt trust stock sleeves past 10-12psi... on any GSR or type R...

with lower compression inline gasket and maybe some 9:1 pistons i would get away with it but not really just running rods and pistons.

i get what your saying man. so i will call you today so i can discuss more about my block being fitted to go turbo.

If you want 15+ psi get your block sleeved.

with a goal of 15psi + its best to invest on a sleeved block. you never know when you want to boost more than what the stock sleeves will limit you.
