wow my itr tach is quite off
i just got a itr cluster for my gsr. i was curious to see is there would be any difference in how accurate the tachs would be since everyones complaining how thier tach is off at high speeds. (i.e tach shows 9k fuel cut)
my stock tach was very accurate according to my vafc...about 100-150 off.
now according to my vafc the itr tach is about 300 off. nothing major but you would think there wouldnt be much of a difference.
now it could be off b.c of something i did since i had to swap the gauges into my old cluster but i was really carefull not to touch the needles.
just thought i would share

yea they are dead on in the low end , but whent he RPM's rise they tend to uhhhh. float for lack of better wording . . mine does the same thing .
My Autometer Tach works a lil better

Did you get the cluster used? Over time and depending on temperature conditions the accuracy can change. But after 2 years my stock tach is still right on with the VAFC all the way to the fuel cut at 8500 RPM.
