Thought Id post this up b/c I am gonna be working on the car this weekend and Ill try to address it.
Ok, Last summer I installed a full Prothane bushing kit on my civic. There is one particular bushing that fits onto the shift stabalizer at the tranny. When I removed the bolt so I could install this I got covered in tranny fluid, and when I was under the car the other day I found a small bead of fluid sitting there looking like it was about to drip. No puddles though.
I dont remember it loosing fluid when I installed this part while doing my swap. Am I just forgetful, or is something wrong here?

Could be the seals were the axles go into the trans. Or like what happend to me I just somewhat overflowed the transmission with fluid and it leaked a bit out. Not sure if that was honestly my issue but it stopped after the day I filled it up and my fluid levels remain normal.
Clean the bead off and check it in a day or two and see if you have more.
Have you pulled your axles before? You might have damaged those O seals on a side of the transmission. It's a 5 dollar part and not that hard to replace.

Not sure about whats happening. I just pulled that bolt and tranny fluid poured out a whole bunch. I didnt htink it was supposed to. Hopefully nothing is too mucked up.
What size was this "bolt". Can you take a picture the drain bolt uses a 3/8" rachet.
The fill plug is big though and maybe you did that accidently are my only thoughts. If your trans leaks fluid due to unbolting it like inside the clutch area you have issues.

Ok, you know how the shift linkage has two pieces? Well one shifts gears and one is a stabalizer. The Stabalizer connects to the tranny on the inner side. At this point there is a large round bushing, it is held on with a large washer and a bolt. When I removed this bolt a bunch of tranny fluid spilled out. I dont knwo if it is supposed to do this, b/c when i had it removed before there wass not tranny fluid in the tranny. Know where im talking about?

Thanks guys. Ill pull the passenger side axle then while Im messing with my exhaust and pull the stabalizer too. Any idea wy Id have fluid at the back of that hole? Could I have over trqued it (my specialty) and gone through a wall in the tranny with the back of the bolt?
