d15 motor
my girl has a 1994 honda civic lx and the pin on the lower belt pulley that goes on the crankshaft is messed up and they are telling me that i need a new engine. need help!!!
there was a noise coming from the drive side and we thought it was the water pump and when we took it apart it was not the water pump the pin that goes in the pulley the slot if f*** and it make a grinding sound what can i do for temp use
You could take it to a machine shop and have them carve a deeper keyway in the crank and have them also make a custom key. You'll probably have to take the motor out and apart for that. You can replace the crank yourself. Or you could buy a new motor, swap or not. Either way, you are screwed. It's happened to other people before.

if you happen to be lucky and find people that are doing swaps motors can be had for cheap with less miles
its a win win situation
