Default HKS plug question

I have a Non-vtec 98 lx and I want to replace both the spark plug wires and plugs, but I don't know if using Iridium instead of platinum will harm the engine. Is it ok to use a heat range of 6.

What are your mods? If stock stick with NGK (the cheap ones). You can't beat them.
