check out my muffler idea
since the ef/da have the ghey sideways muff, this is what i will be doing, kinda stole the idea from pj bonafacio's toyota levin i think it will look pimp, take a look

thats really a good idea. it would look better, and technically be slightly more efficient that another 90 degree bent. i have my whole muffler pointing sort of like the two pipes in your design.....my brother and i welded up the whole 2.5 inch cat back though, including high flow cat and custom homemade header.....all hand made from the head back.

that is how my friends 89 bmw is. he has two pipes coming out the back, and at an angle like that... but his is stock.. looks good. i say do it.
those are some pretty long *** tips . i have never seen them that long .. my dad's dualie got long tips but not even that long, and i have never seen just polished stainless tubing.
5Zigen tried that before (pic). Yes, reducing the angles, increases flow. To increase flow, you can always have it exit on the right side of the car. Or get a can and angle it out the left side.
