Brake question
Car = 1997 GSR
The other day my brakes started making sounds like they are scraping (metal on metal sound). Also while braking I noticed the rears make the sound too, I thought only the fronts went on with the brake pedal?(sorry if I'm a noob) I checked them out and my rotor is still as it usually looks, not all mangled like I was expecting. Does this mean I need new pads or do I have crap between the pad and rotor that is causing the noise? thanks.
P.S. I got the car in May 2002, no clue when brakes were last changed.
