Suspension questions (springs and shocks)
How long could I run lowering springs with stock shocks befor they go bad? I can't afford the Konis right now, so I was gonna get some springs and then get the Konis in a few months. Also, what springs will give me an even inch and a half drop? Ive seen alot of pictures of RSX's with the rear noticably sagging and I hate that.
Thanks,
Victor

it depends on how hard you drive it and spring rate. i (with a lude) have progress sport springs that lower my car 1.5 inches on all four and i have used my stock shocks for about 3 months. i recommend you get/install the shocks at the same time, it will save you a lot of time and money due to installation. i guess if you got a good deal on the spring you could buy them then wait until you get the shocks. also, the ride will be much "bouncier" without some shocks.
ground control and koni "yellow's" are a good combo...you don't have to spend the 1,200-2,000 for a true coilover....ground control's and koni's are more then enough...
i'm running skunk2 sleves right now with koni sport struts...the car feels really balanced now after i swapped the rear springs (the ones that came with the kit) for some 8kg/mm spring rated springs...
plus koni's can be revalved and shortened if required and you can find Eibach ERS springs just about anywhere for a good price...late
