Clutch slipping. but can not find the problem?!?!?!
Okay, two days ago I installed a Centerforce Stage II clutch disc, pressure plate, and throw-out bearing. I did not turn the flywheel, it looked in great condition. As I put back together the transmission I install a new slave cylinder. So After completion I bled the clutch and took it for a test drive. It comes back working beautifully. Now, I take a trip of 25 minutes to work everyday. From starting up my car to about halfway to work the clutch will be fine. But when I get to work it will feel very stiff. After coming out of work I start my car up again and it still feels stiff. I take it for a spin around the block and if I get sorta hard on the gas, about half throttle, it'll slip and the RPM's will just climb. So...I get the car home and bleed it again. After that I take it for another test drive...doesn't slip. But, later that nite I had to go somewhere and after a while it started to slip again. The slave cylinder seems to be getting air in it somehow. I've checked the line and no leaks. Here's my question. Could it be the Master cylinder, the rod inside of it, that could be letting in air? I don't lose any fluid when it starts to slip. If not what else could it be? I'd gladly appreciate any suggestions.
